The Trinity Residents' Club is an important and integral part of most students life during their stay at college. It provides students with council and community representation, support and holds many social functions throughout the university year. The club is also responsible for the co-ordination fo the NICH cup for men and WICSA cup for women, the two major sports competitions involving all residential colleges.

The annual calendar of events is now online.

.......................................

As residents of this college, every single one of you is a paying member of the Club. The Club itself serves two main purposes, both of equal importance.

One is representation. The President, ultimately represents the needs, the opinions, the concerns of all of you; acting as a your spokesperson, within college and to the outside community, whether that be to the Deputy Head of Student Services, the college residential staff, the Head, the College Council (which is essentially the board of governors of Trinity), the university, the UWA Student Guild, or even to the National Association of Australian University Colleges. Having said that, it is obviously a two-way relationship. In order to represent you both the President and the rest of the committee require constant feedback in order to do so effectively.

The second function that the Residents’ Club serves is one that is intimately linked to the concept of college. The Club is one of the major factors that transforms Trinity from a simple accommodation into a university college. This means that they are largely responsible for providing the activities and services that will enhance and complete your experience at university. They provide a plethora of social activities, whether that be Orientation Week, Car Rally, theme shows or the Annual college ball. In addition, they provide an atmosphere conducive to the arts on campus, in the form of talent shows. The Club is also responsible for the sporting culture that exists on campus, whether that is within the college (between wings) or inter-college, in the form of the Nicholson and WICSA Cups, which we compete for, against the other colleges along Stirling Highway, nearly every Sunday afternoon.

Additionally, the constitution of the Trinity Residents' Club Inc. can be found here.
